Refund Policy

Mostman – Refund Policy (Paddle)

This Refund Policy applies to all purchases of the Mostman service (“Service”) made through Paddle, our authorized payment processor and Merchant of Record.

The Service is operated by Microdata.Galaxy E.U, registered in Austria.

By completing a purchase via Paddle, you agree to this Refund Policy in addition to Paddle’s own terms.


1. Merchant of Record

All payments, billing, and refunds are handled by Paddle as the Merchant of Record.

As a result:

  • Paddle processes payments and refunds on our behalf
  • Refunds are issued according to this policy and Paddle’s systems
  • Paddle’s terms and policies may also apply

2. Monthly Subscriptions

  • Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time
  • Upon cancellation, access remains available until the end of the current billing month
  • No partial or prorated refunds are issued for unused time

3. Yearly Subscriptions

  • Yearly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time
  • If cancelled:
    • Access remains available until the end of the current paid month
    • The remaining unused months are refunded on a prorated basis

Example:

If a yearly subscription is cancelled on April 10:

  • Access remains active until April 30
  • Unused months (May–December) are refunded

Refunds are processed through Paddle to the original payment method.


4. Free Plan Downgrade

If you downgrade from a paid subscription to a free plan:

  • No refund is issued for the current month
  • Your account remains accessible under the free plan terms
  • Data retention follows our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

5. Refund Processing Time

  • Approved refunds are processed by Paddle
  • Refund timing depends on the payment method and issuing bank
  • Mostman does not control processing delays caused by Paddle or financial institutions

6. Taxes & VAT

  • Paddle handles VAT and applicable taxes
  • Refunds include tax adjustments where required by law
  • Transaction or processing fees charged by Paddle may not be refundable unless legally required

7. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us first:

  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account
  • Paddle may investigate the dispute under its own policies
  • Repeated chargebacks may result in permanent account termination

We strongly recommend contacting [email protected] before opening a dispute.


8. EU Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits mandatory consumer rights under EU or Austrian law, including rights related to defective or non-conforming digital services.


9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time.
Changes take effect upon publication with an updated effective date.
