Mostman – Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Mostman software-as-a-service platform, including web services, desktop applications, CLI/TUI tools, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

The Service is provided by Microdata.Galaxy E.U, registered in Austria (“Mostman”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1. The Service

Mostman is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that provides access to productivity and management tools, including but not limited to:

  • Creating and managing teams and workspaces
  • Creating and managing collections
  • Using automation and internal tools provided by Mostman
  • Accessing features based on the selected subscription plan

The Service is provided “as is” and may evolve over time. We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove features at any time.

2. Accounts & Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use the Service.

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activity performed under your account
  • Actions taken by users you invite to your workspace or team

3. Subscriptions & Payments

3.1 Pricing Model

Unless otherwise stated, pricing is per user per month or per user per year.

3.2 Billing

Subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically unless cancelled.

Payments are processed through third-party payment providers. Their own terms may apply.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

4.1 Cancellation

Users may cancel their subscription at any time.

4.2 Monthly Subscriptions

  • No refunds are provided for monthly subscriptions
  • Access remains available until the end of the current billing month

4.3 Yearly Subscriptions

  • If cancelled, the user retains access until the end of the current paid month
  • The remaining unused months will be refunded on a prorated basis

5. Free Plan & Downgrades

If a user downgrades from a paid plan to a free plan:

  • The account and data remain available
  • Data is preserved until the user explicitly deletes their account

6. Data Retention & Deletion

  • If a subscription ends and the user does not downgrade to the free plan, data is kept only until the end of the current billing cycle
  • After the cycle ends, data is permanently deleted
  • Once deleted, data cannot be recovered
  • We do not store user data long-term after deletion

If a user downgrades to the free plan, data is retained until the user deletes their account manually.

7. Privacy & Data Usage

  • We do not sell user data
  • We do not share user data with third parties for commercial purposes
  • All user data is treated as private and confidential
  • We do not analyze, mine, or use user data for any purpose other than providing the Service

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for illegal purposes
  • Attempt unauthorized access or system abuse
  • Upload malware or harmful code
  • Reverse engineer or exploit the Service

Violation of these rules may result in suspension or termination.

9. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property related to the Service, including software, UI, branding, and documentation, remains the exclusive property of Microdata.Galaxy E.U.

Users receive a limited, non-transferable license to use the Service during an active subscription.

10. Availability & Security

We implement reasonable security measures and backups.

If data loss occurs due to our fault, our responsibility is limited to:

  • Attempting recovery from available backups (best effort)

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or complete data integrity at all times.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Mostman bears no responsibility for user errors or misuse
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • If we are at fault, liability is limited strictly to data restoration from backups, where possible

In all cases, responsibility remains primarily with the user.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if:

  • These Terms are violated
  • Payment is not completed
  • Continued use poses a risk to the Service

Upon termination, access ends and data deletion rules apply.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Austria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
